Jeffrey Greenfield, MSW, LCSW
Director
Jeff joined the SBYSP program as Director of the middle and high school sites in April of 2013.  Born and raised in New Jersey he completed most of his education and gained most of his professional experience here in the Garden State.  He earned his Bachelor’s of Arts in psychology from Rutgers University in 1993 and his Master of Social Work at the University of Pennsylvania in 1995.  Jeff started his professional career in Seattle, WA working in a supportive housing program for chronically mentally ill homeless adults.  He returned to New Jersey and began a twelve year run with Family Intervention Services’ Kid Connection program which delivers in-home therapeutic and case management services to youth and families involved with the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (formerly DYFS). Jeff wore many hats during his tenure with Kid Connection including clinician, assistant director, and clinical supervisor. Jeff is excited to join School Based, its talented and caring staff and Warren Hills Community.

Middle School Staff
Brooke  Brooke Mahalick, MSW, LSW 
(Site Coordinator/Mental Health Therapist)
Brooke, a Licensed Social Worker, is the middle school Site Coordinator of  School Based. She oversees daily operations and  provides counseling. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA; there, she majored in Social Work and minored in Spanish. Brooke went on to complete Marywood University’s Master’s Program in Social Work.  Prior to joining the staff at Family Guidance Center of Warren County, she was employed at Valley Youth House in Bethlehem, PA. She gained experience providing intensive therapeutic services to families affected by substance abuse.  At VYH, she became certified as a Functional Family Therapist,  implementing in-home services to at-risk adolescents and their families. The goal of this specific service was to reduce the level of juvenile delinquency and to stabilize the home environment.  From 2003 to present, Brooke continues to promote the School Based Program as an important resource to Warren Hills’ students and families.  As a professional, she is guided by the belief that adolescents can lead a healthy and successful life regardless of the challenges they face.  School Based offers the encouragement and support students need to succeed. 
Shannon  Shannon Englehart (Administrative Assistant/Recreation Worker)
Shannon currently works as the Administrative Professional and Recreation Worker at the Middle School.  A product of the Warren Hills School System, Shannon brings with her a unique understanding of both Washington, as well as the surrounding areas.  She is known for her artistic side, which includes all of the crafts, as well as the decorations that adorn the program.  Shannon enjoys her downtime when not positively impacting today’s youth.
 Christina  Christina Henderson B.A.     
   (Youth Development Specialist)                    
 Christina started in 2011 as the Youth  Development Specialist at the Middle School.  A graduate of  Warren Hills High School and Centenary College, majoring in Education. Her familiarity with the area has led to her bringing fresh ideas to the recreation portion of the program.  She indulges her artistic side, as well as spending time with her family when she is away from the program.

High School Staff

   Rachel Borisow, MSW, LSW (Mental Health Clinician)

  Rachel joined School Based in October of 2017 as a mental health clinician at the program’s high school site.  She earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and Women’s Studies from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA, where she also worked as a Professor’s Assistant and Research Assistant in the Psychology Department.  After completing her Bachelor’s degree, Rachel worked for several agencies in the field of intellectual, developmental, and neurodevelopmental disabilities as a Career Development Specialist, Program Manager, Director of Community Services, and Clinical Care Coordinator.  She also spent time working for the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM as a Research Scientist exploring the relationship between homelessness, mental illness, and addiction in teens and young adults.  Rachel then graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ with her Masters of Social Work with concentrations in clinical services and addictions counseling.   During the first year of her studies there, she interned at the School Based Youth Services Program at Warren Hills Regional High School and enjoyed getting to know the program and the many students it serves.  Rachel was very happy when offered a permanent position in the Program following her graduation from Rutgers University, and looks forward to continuing to work with students – individually and in groups – to identify and promote their strengths, goals, and emotional well-being

Terri Grenot, MSW LSW (Mental Health Clinician)
Terri joined School Based in September 2018 as a mental health clinician at the program’s high school site.  She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey in Mahwah, NJ majoring in Social Work and minoring in addictions.  She then received her Master’s of Social Work in advanced standings programs with a concentration in trauma and a specialization in working with children and families from Fordham University in Westchester, N.Y.  She returned to school postmasters at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ to study play therapy and expressive arts.  Terri gained experience working for Family Intervention Services in Morris County, NJ as an outpatient clinician for children and families.  She currently volunteers with Good Grief in Morristown facilitating children’s bereavement groups.  Terri’s goal is to help students gain insight into their feeling and behaviors, as well as gain the skills needed to foster change and personal growth through a strengths-based approach.  Terri enjoys spending time with her family and training in Isshinryu Karate and Kendo/Japanese Swordsmanship.  She holds a black belt in Isshinryu and is continuing her own training as well as instructing younger students and helping them develop focus, discipline, and other valuable skills.
Peggy  Peggy King, BFA (Youth Development Specialist)
Peggy joined School Based staff in 2003 as a recreation worker at Warren Hills Middle School and High School.  In 2004, she was promoted to a Youth Development Specialist at the high school.  In 2003, Peggy earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts, with a concentration in ceramics, and a minor in education from Arcadia University, and studied abroad at Glasgow School of Art in Scotland in 2001. Peggy’s true passion is art.  When she is not working at School Based or swimming in the pool, she is at the studio creating art.
